Our goal is to highlight important moral lessons that promote
positive values and strengthen the self-esteem of children.
Not to mention that we just plain have fun.

As the clothes-obsessed Emperor and his Royal Court prepare for their annual Fun-Believable Anniversary Celebration, the Royal Seamstress, Lady Lotta Stitches, assures the Emperor that his Anniversary attire will be the best he has ever worn.  When two scoundrels, Needles and Pins, enter the Royal Court and tell the Emperor about their highly priced magic fabric, Chester the Jester suspects foul play. And thus unfolds our retelling of a favorite folk tale with many lively, amusing songs and characters and the important life lesson that it is what is inside a person that matters, not the clothes he wears.

Our rehearsal schedule generally runs from early January to the latter part of February on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. During our trouping schedule we also perform at the schools on Tuesday and Thursday mornings through the middle of April. We will have an Educational Packet available for teachers to use before and after our performance.

In addition to taking our production to East Bay elementary schools from late February until
mid April we will put on public performances at the Oakland Museum of California on Saturday,
March 29 and Saturday, April 12. We will also have a public performance
at the Town Hall Theatre of Lafayette on April 5.
